Sonam Kapoor has been turning down several offers from the South, the most recent being AR Murugadoss's Tamil film Maalai Neram Mazhaithuli opposite South star Vijay.
The actress has been flooded with offers from down under as daddy Anil Kapoor is quite close to certain producers and directors from there. Says an insider, "When she was offered the film by Murugadoss, she mulled over it for a long time as it's a big project. Finally she turned it down. At this point, she doesn't want to do South films. She has signed Rakeysh Mehra's Bhaag Milkha Bhaag and is content doing Hindi films."
