For those of us living in the US, we have recently gotten hold of the Android-powered Dell Streak tablet, but our frineds living across the pond have had theirs for some time already. It makes perfect sense then for them to receive an update to the Android 1.6 operating system which it shipped with, bumping the Streak up to Android 2.1. This non-final update has been confirmed to come from Dell, and among the changes include an improved virtual keyboard and 720p video recording capability. Too bad the SIM-locked Dell Streak in the US will still lag behind with Android 1.6, and we look towards Dell to roll out a new version ASAP.
