Ayodhya land to be divided in three:


Lucknow: Two of the three judges had said that the disputed land in Ayodhya would be divided into three parts, one for the Hindus, one for the Muslims and one for the Nirmohi Akhara, one of the parties in the case, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and lawyer Ravi Shankar Prasad said here Thursday after the verdict.

Prasad, who is lawyer for Raghubar Das, one of the parties, said after the judgment of the Lucknow bench of the Allahabad High Court that Justices S U Khan and Sudhir Agarwal had said the land should be divided into three parts. The third judge in the bench is Justice D V Sharma.

Special: Ayodhya verdict

All the three judges, including Justice Khan, were unanimous in accepting that the idol of Ram could not be removed from the place where it was installed right now, Prasad said.
