Actor-turned-filmmaker Prabhudeva will be directing a film starring Akshay Kumar, and expects to rope in Katrina Kaif to play the female lead. The film will be produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
Prabhudeva, who’s presently shooting for Tamil film ‘Urumi’ by Santosh Sivan, will start the Akshay-Kat film after his Tamil film ‘Engeyum Kadhal’ starring ‘Jayam’ Ravi hits the screens.
His last Hindi film ‘Wanted’ starring Salman Khan was a blockbuster hit. While ‘Wanted’ was a remake of his Tamil hit ‘Pokkiri’, this film will have an original script.
