Hands-free specialist Jabra have an intriguing product in Jabra FREEWAY, which could be rather useful to those who spend a lot of time in cars, especially behind the wheels.
The speaker system is built on a 2.1 configuration, which means that it should also be able to deliver at least decent quality stereo playback. These wireless speakerphones can connect to two Bluetooth devices simultaneously and even access the car stereo using the FM band.
The speakerphones comes with voice recognition capabilities that allow users to operate a paired cellphone's common tasks like calling a contact from the list and answering or ignoring calls.
In turn the speakers notify the user about incoming calls, battery status and successful pairing with a cellphone. It also has noise cancellation system that uses Digital Signal Processing to reduce or eliminate background noise during phone calls.
The built-in batteries have enough juice to give 14 hours of talk time, and 40 days of standby time. The Jabra FREEWAY speakerphone is selling for Rs. 7,499 and carries a yearlong warranty.
